Council Representatives

The GPSA is governed by a Council of representatives, as directed by the GPSA Constitution and its corresponding Bylaws. Council representatives are duly selected by the department/program they represent. Representatives are expected to vote and advocate on behalf of the students in their department.  

Representative Allocation 

The number of Council representatives allocated to a department/program is determined by the Registrar's Fall Quarter Third Week Statistics and their associated number of enrolled students. Representation goes as follows:

Note: Each department is allowed to have one designated alternate to act in the full capacity of a council representative in the absence of a representative from their department.
