VP of Campus Affairs: Claire Turner
The Vice President of Campus Affairs is responsible for advancing the quality of campus life for graduate and professional students. This office oversees the execution of the GPSAUCSD Graduate Student Community Awards Reception in the Spring Quarter, serves as an advocate on issues related to student life, and works to ensure that graduate student needs are represented in campus discussions. The Vice President of Campus Affairs also meets regularly with campus leadership, including the Assistant Vice Chancellor for Student Affairs, and reports back to Council on developments affecting student affairs on campus. In addition, the office appoints and advises representatives serving on committees related to key areas such as transportation, housing, and basic needs, while also overseeing shared graduate and professional student spaces such as the Graduate Student Lounge.
